Important information about booking, payments, and our policies

Booking

Please book your tour at least 1 month before the start date to allow enough time for planning, host recruitment, and material preparation.

Payment

Full payment is required upfront to confirm your slot.

Payment Methods

We currently accept:

  • Xoom (powered by PayPal — international transfers)
  • Remitly
  • Wise
  • Direct bank transfers
  • Direct contracts via Upwork

These platforms are fast, secure, and commonly used for international business transfers.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • All bookings with Lumos Book Tours are final and non-refundable once confirmed. Securing a tour date reserves calendar space and initiates planning, outreach, and promotional preparation
  • If an author chooses to cancel at any time after booking, no refund will be issued.
  • In the rare event that Lumos Book Tours must cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from delivering the agreed service, a partial refund or credit toward a future event will be offered at our discretion.
  • By booking a tour, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for providing all required materials — book files, graphics, and information — on time to ensure a smooth tour experience.

Genre Policy

We welcome all genres, including romance with closed-door or lightly spiced scenes, but erotica is not accepted.

Lumos puts its best effort into promoting your book and connecting it with engaged readers. However, outcomes such as engagement or sales may vary depending on genre, cover design, and audience response.
